I had a Moon wagon when I was a kid and to this day I have never seen another.Mine was orange and I have no idea what ever happened to it.
ReplyDeleteMy sister and I had a ton of fun in it.
very cool to see pictures of it.
I just bought one at a yard sale in Deland FL yesterday.
DeleteWow... good for you! I've still never seen one of these in person!
DeleteMy parents hung onto mine for 30+ years and I have it now. It’s the orange one too!!!!
DeleteI had one of these when I was a little girl, it was my favorite wagon to play with. You could be pushed or pulled in it, when you were pulled you would pop wheelies. I want to buy a blue one with the flowers on it
DeleteI'm really old I had a moon wagon when they first came out I had a blast on it but people were getting hurt but it was alot of fun
DeleteHoly Macaroni! Ive been looking for this wagon for years! Until I found your site I began to think i had made-up the images from my childhood. I remember the summer of 1968 in So-Cal. As a young 8 year old nipper never having used this type of vehicle, but rolling down a steep hill and mistakenly "popping a wheelie" to the admiration of the older guys; its one of my earliest memories. Thanks so much for sharing this as it brings me back to a fond past. Im sketching-out a prototype today.
ReplyDeleteWell I am very happy to have made your day! Keep me in the loop with your project, if you'd like it shared with others
DeleteI am very interested in the Blue Moon wagon. I had one when I was a little girl and I swear I played with it everyday
