Back in the early 90's, I had a list of the quickest E.T.s in drag racing history.....from the very beginning. If I remember it correctly, the Flathead Ford held the records in the years prior to the Hemi. And it was the Chrysler designed Hemi engine that held the record from that point forward. Also at that time it was noted that you could bolt a factory 426 c.i. engine into a modern top fuel dragster or funny car, as the bellhousing bolt pattern was the same.
