Thanks Vlad for the link to the above photo, and for getting to the truth, that this is a replica made in 1971 by collector and dealer Jean de Dobbeleer
While the works at Molsheim was waging an unsuccessful battle for survival, De Dobeleer was buying Bugattis from all over Europe, restoring and selling them world wide, many to American buyers via Gene Cesari and Lyman Greenlee. De Dobbeleer's dealership in Brussels became the place to acquire a Bugatti.
