Officer Michael Brelo stood on top of a car and fired fifteen shots down at his victims (of the 49 shots he fired in total). He was acquitted. Wonderful... shooting unarmed people, one which wasn't driving the car, isn't breaking the police procedure (each had 20 bullet holes in them of 137 shots fired from 13 cops)

Investigators eventually concluded that neither Russell nor Williams had a gun.

An exhaustive search was conducted along the route of the pursuit, including the use of a dive team to look in bodies of water, but no gun was ever found.

The incident helped spur a US Justice Department probe that concluded Cleveland police officers have shown a pattern and practice of using excessive force.

The city and federal authorities are negotiating a consent decree to reform the police department that will cost the city millions of dollars to implement and enforce.

Cleveland has already paid $3million to the families of Russell and Williams to settle a lawsuit.

now, now do you get it?

  1. Oh shut up! They were running away from police, refused to stop, driving like maniacs, and you talk they were stopped peacefully at the traffic lights? When a cop ask you to stop, you stop!!! Only criminals hit the gas when the blue light flashes!!!!

    1. Yes they were. So, you authorize the police to shoot and kill everyone that drives like a maniac, and refuses to stop? You might, but the American Constitution does not. Killing people is not in the purview of the police, only the court system. The job of the police is to get the suspect of an "Alleged" crime in front of a jury and judge. Am I wrong? Now, when the perp is unarmed, and not threatening anyones lives, there is no justification for deadly force as the police procedure and policy is written. Again, am I wrong? If you think so, then there are 3 million reasons why you haven't yet come to the rational reason that the city of Cleveland did, because that was the settlement for the family. What do you think about that?

    2. Also, police procedure is to shoot 2wice, center body mass, then re-assess. This obviously did not happen. So... unload into a corpse, reload, do it again, and then tell everyone you've done your job correctly as a cop? No. I don't think so. Homey don't play that (if you get my reference)
