Known as the diamond of the West Coast, La Jolla will forever stay true to the name’s meaning, “the jewel” of the Southern California shoreline. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the La Jolla Concours d’Elegance, one of the finest internationally renowned automobile showcases in the United States, has attracted automobile aficionados from around the globe to this picturesque venue located right on the Pacific Ocean. This is not only an incredible weekend of automotive events; it is also an opportunity to experience the chic allure of La Jolla’s Avenues, which exudes first class hospitality, one-of-a-kind landscapes, magnificent boutiques and world-class cuisine.
This weekend will mark the 10th Anniversary of the La Jolla Concours d’Elegance and some of the most exquisite automobile displays in the world are set to be showcased. This celebratory automotive weekend will begin on Friday, April 11th, 2014 with the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Contemporary Classic Cocktail Party at the stunning La Valencia Hotel. Celebrating European racing history with the marquees of Bentley and Ferrari, the 10th Annual La Jolla Concours d’Elegance will honor everything from the Parisian roots of the first ever motoring events in the late 1800s to the continental racing phenomenon spreading across Europe throughout the 1900s and into the modern day. Staying true to tradition, we will also be featuring the La Jolla Motor Car Classic at the Concours, which will once again be free and open to the public and will expand the show from the Ellen Browning Scripps Park into the La Jolla Village roadways displaying a variety of automobiles.
The 10th Annual La Jolla Concours d’Elegance proceeds will go towards the betterment of the Monarch School Project, which educates students specifically who have been impacted by homelessness, as well as the La Jolla Historical Society, which preserves the history of the gem known as La Jolla. General admission tickets are $40 in advance and $45 on the day of the event, or you can upgrade your experience with a VIP Ticket for $125.
