filmed around Queenstown and at Whenuapai in 1986 for the movie 'The Rescue’. The movie was released 5 Aug 1988 The movie was filmed in China, Hong Kong, Macau and NZ. The aircraft was supposed to be North Korean.
The Korean script on the side reads, "Chosun Civil Air". At the time the aircraft was owned by Dwen Airmotive and had previously been operated by Hercules Airlines.
