clearly it's heavy dtuy

jfc, don't buy tools you will have to rely on to get work done from Harbor Freight. Hobby tools? Like sanders, furniture dollys, etc? Fine. But if you need a bog hand tool, get an old one from a yard sale, craigslist, swap meet, estate sale. One with a name brand on it that has a decent reputation. It doesn't have to be Proto or Snap On to get the job done.

remember, made in CHINA means Can't Handle INdustrial Applications

  1. We'd get those 'lowest bidder' tools in the Air Force, the name for them was 'strip-easy' as they didn't last long. Ratchets that broke, sockets that stripped and split, open end wrenches that would bend, break, wear out in one use. No matter what we said, no matter how many times we tried we couldn't get quality tools purchased because of price, even though we could prove that we could pay for one Snap-on tool for the price of a half dozen el-cheepos that we went through in a month-nope. Even had a supply guy tell me we couldn't buy higher quality tools because they were more likely to be stolen! I asked him who would steal them since every tool we had was marked and had to be accounted for every time it was checked out and checked in, we had a better system of tracking our tools than the police had for tracking their rifles! Truth be told, the most likely place for tools to go missing was in the supply warehouse before they were even issued.
