personal note, I've lived in San Diego since 1995, so, 31 years, after transferring when the my sea duty rotation was up and it was time for shore duty, and I got lucky and got MP at Miramar, the old Top Gun base... I was then given my 2nd sub here, instead of some other sub base, and after my contract with the Navy was up, I had no ideas on where to move, or why, and since San Diego's temps are so much nicer than the other places I've lived (Michigan, Connecticut, Florida, Washington, Texas, and Hawaii) and it's actually easy to get a new job to get better pay when you quit (often) or get fired (also often)

Driving from southern spain up to the spain/french border takes about 12 hours...
ReplyDeleteI only share the stuff, I don't create the memes... I suspect they meant a high speed train.
DeleteFact checking, and from Cadiz Spain to Andorra, is 748 miles, (southern tip to northern edge)
from San Diego (southern border) to Crescent City (northern border) of California is 734 miles.
I do understand that you didn't create the meme... But some of your readers might believe what it said, I do not think it is high speed train, the meme says "Driving" As a side note, driving 8 hours from southern Sweden, up north, you have then covered a 3rd of the total distance. The first meme is spot on, I lived in San Diego in the early 80s, traffic was heavy...
