i had to try something new to clean my K&N filter, faster than the usual sun dry method... so I improvised - used a cat litter bucket, and freezer de-icer blow dryer... it worked ok

 

I tossed the filter in the bucket, added water til it was covered, added a couple kids of cleaner/degreaser, etc..and sloshed, swirled, rinsed, and repeated, then poured a couple gallons of water out from head high to get some pressure to move the water through the filter material

and because I don't have compressed air, and the heat helps dry... I used my de-icer on high... and in a couple minutes had dried out the filter material
