This i respect.... cops vs driver, one on one.... In an effort to catch more drivers illegally using their phones, police in Dunellen New Jersey dressed up in a hunter ghillie camo suit and stood next to an extra-leafy tree, looking for drivers who were holding their phones in violation of a statewide ban.

the results? 74 citations for distracted driving in six hours.

  1. Just wondering... do they have a leash law in that town, or did the neighbor dogs stop by to let the other dogs know they'd been there?

    3. ok. I guess you were going for a joke about dogs peeing on the cop in camo. You distracted me with leash laws and neighbor dogs. Completely threw me off the trail

  3. Near me the cops sometimes dress as construction workers or surveyors. Stand next to the road at a traffic light wearing the construction worker vests with a surveying stick and a radio,
first time I saw this I thought there was a huge wreck, I come over the hill and theres about 8 cop cars with the lights on, sitting on the shoulder and in parking lots nearby ,

and all these people totally oblivious to all the flashing blue lights and sit there with the phone in their hand.

they also have a couple of cameras on the interstate, on a trailer, the cameras high above the road and the cameras ai software can tell if youre holding a phone, is so, it takes a picture of the driver holding their phone and a larger pic showing the car and license plate, instantly sends it to the cop thats waiting a mile up the road.
