can you believe, that a car club in Dearborn Mi, in 64, went in on and bought a Thunderbolt for racing? They had it at least two years, Super Stock the first year, and A/FX the 2nd
I replicated a Thunderbolt for a friend of mine to race. it was a true 427 sider oiler. That car would real arch up the rear leaf springe so he had me 4 link and coilover shocks which killed the value so he sold it. Later build him another car but that's another story.
