I just learned more about Janis's 356... her roadie painted the designs, and it was stolen in '69, during a gig at the Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco. (thank you Kim!)

She bought the car used, off a lot in 1968, for 3500, and it was auctioned in 2015 for 1.76 million dollars, which is still a record for a Porsche 356.
