My first car was a 64 Bel Air wagon. My father bought it with a totaled registration when I was in 10th grade for the massive sum of $400. That was 56 years ago and I'd give anything to have it back again. It had a 307 with a two speed Power Gide transmission and an eight track tape player. I was living high.
Oh that sounds like a great car! And keep in mind, there are more like it for sale than we will ever hear of. Bring a Trailer has proven there are always more, in better condition, for less than we think, often
I really like station wagons I has a 65 Chevelle and a66 Chevelle. I think the 65 was a two door. Miss them both.
