"Snoopy I" a modified Convair B-58A Hustler nicknamed for its distinct 7-foot drooped nose, which housed the experimental AN/ASG-18 radar and AIM-47 Falcon missile system later used on the YF-12 and F-14 Tomcat.
Jesse, the B-58 was built in Fort Worth. Never saw one fly but there was one on static display. I do have several 35 mm picture s and when I have time I will go through my negatives but you know how that will go!
I used to see an occasional one flying low over south Louisiana, probably going into the air force base at Lake Charles. Quite a pretty airplane! This was in the 1962-64 timeframe.
Once a mighty plane! Why wasn't that preserved?
