if some obsolete railroad left track in your backyard... because a factory like marble or paper went out of business... what would you do with the extra land? Me, I'd pull that shit up and smooth out my "new" lawn (or put a LOT of topsoil over it until it's "buried" and can't be seen)
In theory I would buy a railway carriage and place there to be use as a mancave. In the real world I would never have the money to do that, so I would do the same as you would. 8-)

Based on one's economic situation, this could be utilized with a homemade railroad car for the children to drive back and forth. Rent it out for children's parties.
ReplyDeleteoh wow... build a "put put" car, or inspection car type of little vehicle, with forward, reverse, and brakes, and let those kids explore the rails for as far as the abandoned rails will go, then... take and trailer it to other abandoned rails in the area for more exploring for your self! I love that!
