'55 Arnolt-Bristol


'American' car devised by Chicago industrialist Stanley H. "Wacky" Arnolt, in actuality a Bristol chassis shipped from the UK to Italy for Bertone bodywork designed by Franco Scaglione. Most of the approximately 142 built were then shipped to and sold in the US.

  2. I remember seeing one in LA when I was a kid. British Racing Green, it looked more purposeful than graceful; they sit up a little high. The one in the picture is a Bolide model.

  3. There's a LOT of eye candy in that photo, and as far as I can tell it's just a parking lot photo, although possibly at a car event like a race of some sort.
