The RR box cars made me think of the HO scale "product placement" box cars my dad had in the 70s when I was a kid. I still have a few of them including the big Campbells Soup insulated and the Heinz- "Pickles & Euchred Figs" box.
ReplyDeleteThe 4th picture is interesting, with what looks like a donkey sitting in a chair. I would guess that the ginger ale was also made during prohibition.
ReplyDeleteThe ice cream car picture is weird. The driver's face is all distorted, and the lettering is all messed up. The car looks like a Bantam.
The ice cream car looks normal in the article at History.com. That's strange
ReplyDeleteHow about that... where I got the image from, had messed with the lettering so it couldn't be read! How strange! And I didn't even notice! But now that you point it out, I'm going to grab their photo and replace the weird one I had (that had better contrast, the reason I used it)
