among the GT 350s the original Venice crew builds, is this type of rear deck, looking like that early 60s Thunderbird option. I think it's terrible on the Mustang

It's not uncommon to come across one of these Jeep Wagoneers, but, I've never noticed these locking hubs before, on anything. They are named Dualmatic!

Very cool to see this old camera on the dash

Here's how the Dualmatic works (thank you Steve! https://robwolfe10.tripod.com/dualmatic_hubs.htm )
here's a page about them getting restored https://www.cj3apage.com/index/My_1950/restoring_dualmatic_hubs.htm

I'd rather be on these roads right now, all things considered. Imagine, if you could be comfortably retired, and be able to afford a wandering life, just looking for beautiful places to photograph, so people who can't travel, could enjoy them too

every Friday night, the Daily Time Waster blog posts about 20 great photos of open roads

The projected cost of the high-speed electric train connecting Las Vegas to the Los Angeles area just went up by nearly 40%.

Initially, that was expected to be in 2028, in time for the Olympic Games in Los Angeles, but it will not be finished in time, according to recent reports.

it turns out that some people believe a god existed about 6 thousand years ago, and told them to let their great great grandkids, 40 generations later, know that their deity had a rule against driving (a concept that did not exist thousands of years ago) cars (which couldn't even be imagined) on roads that also didn't exist. So, today, cyclists take over the roads
