Over the past few years, Ford has issued more recalls than any other automotive manufacturer
Ford has issued a total of 82 recalls in 2025 thus far, just a few days before the conclusion of the first half of the year.
Unfortunately for The Blue Oval, that number is light years ahead of second-place Forest River, a recreational vehicle maker that has issued 19 recalls, as well as the rest of the pack. Volkswagen Group and Chrysler are tied for third place with 15 recalls each, followed by Mercedes-Benz (13), Honda (12), General Motors (12)

On April 15, 1873, Masterson learned that Ritter was due to arrive in Dodge City, Kansas, aboard a Santa Fe train and that Ritter was carrying a large roll of cash. When Ritter's train pulled in, Masterson entered the car alone and confronted him and marched him out onto the rear platform of the train, where he forced him to hand over the $300 owed to him, his brother Ed, and a friend named Theodore Raymond. the Ford F-150 – phased out the stick after 2008
the Chevy Silverado got rid of it even before that, in 2007.
The last full-size pickup to offer a manual transmission in the U.S. was the Ram 2500 HD, which discontinued its manual option after the 2018 model year.

in Silsbee, Texas, a man stole a 2025 Ford Mustang directly from a dealership while performing a test drive. He left his drivers license though... so they didn't have any trouble finding the thief
It wasn’t long before the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office spotted the stolen Mustang and successfully executed a traffic stop, at which point the thief was arrested without incident. Luckily, no one was hurt, and now, the man is facing a litany of charges including aggravated robbery, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, with bond set at $230,000.

So, why have several 10s of thousands of historical items been stored, instead of on display, by a museum - which only exists to show and share the items, (that's why they charge admission) but now they want to charge a lot more, to let people know what's in storage.
Huh. Have I got that right, or missed something obvious? In the video that explains it all... they say they made a new museum location, with a new exhibition, a lot of new green space, and a learning center.... but they don't mention that these items in storage, that they want to fundraise to move, will be given a place to be displayed.
See? new green space, new exhibition, and new learning center... nothing about new exhibit halls expansion the size of several warehouses, as that is what it would take to display all the stuff they want you to pay to move, that's stored in the warehouse. That's pretty cheeky

Lawyers got some outlandish amount of money instead of sticking GM with a RECALL where all affected parties get a new engine.
Seems to me that is a tenth of the cost of the engine rebuild or replacement.... because my Veloster had that "Excessive oil consumption" problem and the warranty replacement cost about 15thou... for a 2 liter Hyundai engine.
