well done nose art from a Milt Caniff character in Terry and the Pirates, Miss Burma, an A-20 in the 86th Bomb Squadron which flew out of numerous bases including French Morocco, Sicily, Italy and France.
heck, when I learned of Terry and the Pirates, I went and bought a book of the first year or so, just because I'd learned that the artist, and artwork, was some of the best. I didn't get a kick out of the story, it was a bit less adventurous, and more long story drama than I wanted to read.
