  1. The photo dates from 1926 which is also the year of the Velie shown. 1926 was the first year they were fitted with Lockheed hydraulic four-wheel brakes.

    1. thanks, another piece of bad info from Google Lens.
      There's no reason for me to doubt the accuracy, despite your corrections, as whatever it has to say about what ever I look up is better than my guessing, and takes a LOT less time than if I looked up a car manufacturer's models compared to other makers, to narrow it down, the old fashioned way.
      Anyway, how'd you nail the right year?
