of all the abandoned race tracks that come to mind, F1, Gran Prix, Nascar, drag strips, go carts... the only other one I can think of, and it sure didn't come to mind very quick.... is a snowmobile track!
There used to be a race track in Crystal Palace park in south London. They used to have formula 3 formula 2 and formula 1 races there as well as other events like go cart racing. I know somebody who was in the last go cart race they had there in 1974. There was an event called Motorsport at the Palace held there once a year when they did Sprint racing and I saw some amazing cars there. if you do an image search on google you will find plenty of pictures but I saw Aston martins, Ferrari's, Bentleys, Jags, Lots of Mk1 & 2 Escorts, Single seaters & some home made cars including one made from salvaged aircraft parts as they were light. They even had a 100 year old car (I cant remember the make) that was being raced. The last race was in 2019 and it was cancelled in 2020 due to covid and they were unable to get permits to run it after that. There is a Wikipedia page if you want to look up other info. There used to be a web page but its seems to have gone now. I think it was run by the Sevenoaks and district motor club.
