Jesse, when our Huey Helicopters were shipped to Vietnam there were several Disney artist on board and they painted various Disney cartoon characters on the pilots doors. I believe there was one ship was still in the company when I got there. Just wish I had brought a camera but shortly after that i did by a new Pentax Spotmatic and I have been carrying one most every day since then. And yes, I am still learning how to operate that new canon digital camera but it is much smarter than i am. But then you know that!
Oh dang, I wish I could see those door paintings! I guess that's nose art too... and I think you've seen my Nose Art page on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100076264262114
and yeah, the new cameras are ridiculously complex, and without a college class on their hundreds of features and functions, they are far more capable than we are. A decade ago, I had a new Nikon, a D555 I think it was, and simple set it on Auto! There's nothing I wanted from it but to take a damn photo, quickly, and in focus. It turns out that was not a fast focusing camera, and eventually, I wond up doing the focusing myself, and using Photoshop to increase contrast sometimes, or color correct sometimes. So much wasted time. Now I use a cell phone, and they are ok, but not as damn terrific at photography, and I don't spend any time with photoshop except to make my banners the right size. Anyway, I figure Canons are so incredibly engineered, that it's very likely they can do everything on Auto, that we can do on manual.
