This wasn't the first time that Franklin named a model after current events. When Charles Lindbergh flew across the Atlantic with an air-cooled motor in 1927, Franklin played up the connection by introducing an "Airman" sedan and giving one to the aviator.
Huh! I had not heard of that! It makes a lot of sense, anything remotely tied to Lindbergh was going to succeed, and greedy types were desperate to glom onto his name and endorsement, and there's no surer way than to simply give him one of your products then photograph him with it, and publicize that he was using, or endorsing their product... same as the Oscar gift bag companies.
and it's been many months since the last time I heard from you, how've you been? Do i recall right that you were trying for a read through of everything I'd posted? Did you catch up to current posts yet?
