  1. When I was a kid in the 50's those home-made pickup boxes were pretty common. Rarely as fancy as the one shown. It was a pretty common poor man's pickup, a beat-up business coupe from the 30's or 40's, toss the trunklid, and a few boards made a box.

    1. I've posted a couple rumble seat truck bed adaptors, because trucks could get better gas rations in WW2. I haven't posted one in years though. If it were just another metal aftermarket one, I would have passed on this opportunity, but the wood? That looks like someone made it with care, so it got posted to share the nice woodwork
