This train, is buried underground. About 50 feet under, near Lindal-in-Furness, Cumbria, England, in 1892

It happened to be rolling over a sinkhole that no one noticed... until the engineer realized that "Uh oh" feeling of getting closer to ground level. 

He jumped, made it safely away, and lived to tell the tale of the only train to fall into the earth
