It's probably unethical and immoral to imply this is a super cool thing I can sure applaud, and put out a guitar case for tips based on this... but I have a soft spot for encouragement, especially on my (too often) times between jobs, and this is yet another one of those because last year when I took this past job, I didn't have the luxury of waiting for a great job, I just took the first one that came along where I didn't take a pay cut, so I could get back to enjoying a life without job hunting.
Since starting this blog, in 2006, I've had somewhere between 12 to 15 different jobs. So, a couple companies went out of business, one contract was cancelled by the govt in the 2009 "Stimulus Act" was the fastest way for politicians to get higher priorities met, like that bridge to nowhere. On the other hand, the news says that 40,000 miles of roads and more than 2,700 bridges have been upgraded. Plus I jumped from some low paying jobs to better paying jobs, and was fired a couple times, and of course, COVID came along and screwed everything up, and the coolest job I've ever had, as a car dealership photographer (really, I was made for that!) where I also had lots of spare time on the job to surf the internet and find unreal amounts of things to post, well, COVID shut down that whole industry, and I was yet again on the job hunt in the fall of 2020.
