probably my favorite commercial during the Superbowl, Harrison Ford talking about Jeep, freedom, and courtesy

a couple of times during this commercial, they show a Bronco, and point out it's been inspired by the Jeep

Variety.com did a story on what it took to pull off a miracle and get this commercial made https://variety.com/2025/tv/news/harrison-ford-super-bowl-commerical-jeep-1236301991

Olivier Francois is the global chief marketing officer of Stellantis and, just before December, had been given a “mission impossible” assignment by John Elkann, the company’s chairman.

Elkann wanted the company to run a strong Super Bowl commercial for Jeep, something Francois has done many times in the recent past, like that one that had Eminem signal an economic resurgence in Detroit; the one where Clint Eastwood asked a post-recession U.S. to get back out on the field and play, because it was “halftime in America" and the one where Bill Murray re-created the movie “Groundhog Day” for Ram Trucks

That's one amazing run of A listers

Anyway, the article is a good read, and gets into what problems they had to contend with, 1st and foremost Harrison Ford wasn't motivated to do a Jeep commercial, or, any commercial. He doesn't need the money.

2ndly, it was a 2 minute commercial, in a 30 seconds is 8 million dollars, and there were no available times to run even a minute commercial in the schedule.

So, I hope you want to read about the work that went into the commercial, it's worth sharing

    1. I don't watch football... or baseball. For all I care, both teams can lose, and play teams from hockey, or soccer, or fooseball. I don't care, Just as long as the commercials are great, and show a lot of movie previews... I'm happy!
