Jesse, While in Vietnam in the mid 60s we saw many American cars in strange places. There was a 62 Corvette roadster at the Michelin rubber tree plantation that would be speeding along on the dirt roads. Many American sedans seen on the two lane highways driven by who knows. I'm sure some were abandoned right where the quit and pushed to the side. I have no doubt the Infantry didn't run across them while in the field. As we flew over a wide range of areas nothing ever surprised me.
