hard to fathom that this 93 Probe GT is a 31 year old car.... the design still looks contemporary for sports cars to me.

I was talking to a guy at SEMA that had just brought a car there, and I can't recall what one, who has had a dozen Probes, all variety and special editions, EXCEPT the base model plain Jane version.

I had one too, a 83, stick shift, 4" factory sub woofer, it was really fun to corner with!

Today, is the 18th anniversary of the 1st post on the blog

(and here's what I wrote in the 1st post 18 years ago to get this blog started)

It's a start

In the beginning, men became fed up with walking.

Then they realized that horses left horseshoes, nails, and piles of manure in the roads

Soon, the marvelous elixir of gasoline was concocted, Charles Goodyear discovered the method of vulcanizing rubber.... and the birth of the internal combustion engine happened, roughly about the same time, and Voila! Some smart guy put it all together, and the human race began rolling around with engines powering wagons and the horse became obsolete

The automobile was on it's way to changing human culture, art, and transportation.
