The twin-turbo LT7 is rated at 1,064 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and 828 pound-feet of torque at 6,000 rpm.
It's a flat-plane crank DOHC based on the 5.5L LT6 in the C8 Z06. Performance specs include a quarter mile time under the 10-second mark and a top speed around 215 mph.
Some WW2 fighter planes had their exhaust manifolds modified, for a little bit of extra thrust.
