here's a scam I haven't heard of before, renting a car, and selling it it on Craigslist

After handing over his cash (CASH?!?!), the buyer discovered the car was a rental redone with new paint, wheels, and a fake title.

Who is gullible enough to think anyone is selling a Hellcat for 28k cash?

  1. The idea of getting a good deal of any kind with a minimum of effort (or, in this case, price), is what makes the the two or three neurons we use for rational thought fuse together. It is also the working principle for lotteries, dating and religion.

  2. I read a couple of articles about this story, and they aren't saying anything about the guy who rented the car and sold it. He must have used fake documents to rent the car, because it sounds like they don't know who or where he is. Buyer beware!
