back in 2010, I posted about the Auburn Cabin Speedster... and I think I just stumbled across a photo of that same car way back in 1932 from



I'm only guessing it's the same one.

    Actually the image is of a reproduction, one of two commissioned by some rich guy from Indiana in the early eighties. The original, identified as an Auburn, was destroyed by fire at a Los Angles auto show (1929?), along with a couple hundred other vehicles. The design is compliments of Alan Leamy, who also gifted us with the first Auburn Speedster which Gordon tweeked after Leamy’s departure from the company.

    The car pictured is on display at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. The original buck is there as well as I recall.
