Eyes open, head on a swivel, and for gods sake, look both ways when approaching an intersection, even a railroad intersection. The life you save may be your own!
I see one flash from one overhead light as the car on the right goes under it. and 2 flashes from the light on the far right at shoulder height, and the gates only start to lower as the car on the right goes over the railroad. As the video comes to an end, the gate is lowering in front of the camera - so slowly that it won't be down until AFTER the train has passed.
Why weren't the lights signals flashing and the gates down on the crossing?

DeleteThat's a Chicago Metra train. Can't tell which line or location.
