From the 1926 Grand Prix season

  1. There were two races held a week apart on the Lasarte circuit. The 1926 European Grand Prix (won by Jules Gough in a Bugatti T39A) counted for the European Championship, restricted to cars with 1.5-litre engines. The 1926 Spanish Grand Prix (won by Meo Constantini in a Bugatti T35) was a grand prix race for formula libre racing cars (no restriction on engine capacity).
