  1. Henry's idea of making a Ford T for the air. Unfortunately it wasn't a good flyer, prompting Charles Lindbergh to claim that it was "one of the worst aircraft he ever flew".

    Ford had much more success with the truly excellent Trimotor, eight of which fly to this day.

    1. I think this must be why Henry never wanted anything to do with airplanes ever again... Edsel had a better look at the airplane, and much more success
