I actually managed to see that while it still existed here in Georgia! The Story - As a then member of FLU, we were invited to participate Polar Bear run with the local British Car Enthusiast club. The run was to be topless, in January, from Buford to Madison, GA. ending with a tour of the Museum They gave you a bucket of Double Bubble Bubble Gum as you left. Never did figure out why though. All of the Fiats made it and most of the MG's were accounted for.
Bruce, actually owned Double Bubble, hence the gift. It also explains the candy store he had in the corner (none sold at the auction) filled with all the Double Bubble stuff.
I love numbers 2 and 5
ReplyDeleteAny idea what make #2, the black roadster is?
