Nice pictures, all, but I really like the wheel-less Ford. I don't know if your "where's the steering wheel" was rhetorical but the joystick on the left and only a brake pedal on the floor tells me that it's a testbed for an alternative control method. They were ahead of their time...kids today would be able to control it better than with a wheel and gas pedal.
It reminds me of Mercury's "Twist Wrist" steering in the mid 60's. I've always wanted that on my car.
In the pic with Ray Brock, it looks like there is a joystick on the driver's door. I don't see an accelerator pedal either, just a small brake pedal.

I think the steering wheel for the Ray Brock car is the joystick on the left side.
