I wish I'd known, I'd have tried to help by getting you buyers for all the potential parts, artists to make garage car parts art of the good body panels, and somehow put together a trophy from something cool on the Barracuda, with a "bought on and lost on dates"

I'm a sucker for an entire side of a car on the garage wall, or the tail panel, or the nose. Even a door. The entire dash and instrument panel from A pillar to A pillar.

I'm such a softy for mementos of a loved car.

Sad to hear your insurance company fought you, and glad that I trailed you and got these photos of your cool car. I remember the moment well, southbound 163 from Genesee to Friars basically snapping photos and driving to get just a couple good ones of a great paint and striped Barracuda.

Will you get another 60's car? After two cars and two walls there wasn't much that could be done with the old girl so she went to scrap sadly. I did manage to pry of a couple trim pieces that were intact and kept them as a memento. The insurance was okay... but I'm still fighting the fact that someone hit me and took off. They would like to believe that I just ran my car into a wall for no reason. My adjuster is good though so he got me a fair price for the car when it was claimed as a total loss.

My dad was actually searching the web for a model of the car to buy for me and this popped up in the google search. Thanks again for posting these :)Jessicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09261018373434537233noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37353682.post-20032991172395078122013-04-02T17:11:05.561-07:002013-04-02T17:11:05.561-07:00How in the world did you dad find the photos? It had the 273 V-8 with the high compression ratio (10:1) in it. Thank you so much for these photos! I recently lost this car to a hit and run and I didn't have a really good photo of it to keep around. JessicaJessicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09261018373434537233noreply@blogger.com
