If Ray is around I would REALLY like to know their story. I can't seem to find any info on Woods or Stone but there is plenty on "cookie".

thanks,

-Ned
Boise, IdahoIBNED2https://www.blogger.com/profile/10818741647349072835noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37353682.post-362899436416510882010-01-13T14:59:49.209-08:002010-01-13T14:59:49.209-08:00Brings back fond "Goose-Bump" memories. ...Brings back fond "Goose-Bump" memories. I was part of the Team back in the '62-'65 years and enjoyed every un-slept hour of those great old days. Fred Stone always liked the car standing-tall. As one of my jobs, on or off the strip, I did what it took to make it look it's best. I think it was the '63 Mickey Thompson Car Show at the L.A. Sports Arena, the week piror to the Winternationals, I took this car and entered it in the show. As always, it was a real crowd pleaser and won it's class with a 3' tall trophy. Fred told me "You earned it-You keep it", and I have, all these years. Thank you for keeping a REAL-LEGEND-ALIVE!
