looks like the right sort of lake hopper to me... small, with a VW engine and a couple gas tanks. You actually don't need anything more from a plane when going fishing (room for bait, poles, snacks and beer of course)

  1. Ercoupe (built 1940-1969) with a Continental flat four engine and Edo floats. Beautiful little plane.

  2. That looks like an Aerocoupe with floats. I learned to fly in the non-float version of that plane in the 1960's. The Aerocoupe came out in the late 40's I believe. It had the ailerons connected to the rudders so it had no rudder peddles. The sales pitch was that if you can drive a car you can fly an Aerocoupe.
