I wonder what ever became of the Chicago Military Vehicle Research Institute and the Research Foundation of Armour Institute of Technology?

These are both names of the place that made the Snow Cruiser project happen.

  1. They took it to Antarctica, found that it didn't work too well on snow. Abandoned.

    1. That wasn't the question I asked. I've already posted about it, http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2010/12/antarctic-sno-cruiser-was-driven-to.html a couple of times... this was a new photo, and a good time to ask a question... about the place it was made. Not about the fate of the cruiser, but about the fate of the manufacturing plant that made such a huge vehicle
