    1. Did you feel it was necessary to tell me that? Damn... I appear so clueless to you? Have you seen the 11 years of 32000 posts? Go ahead, tell me something else, water is wet, the sun is hot, Chevy makes the vette? Ferrari's are expensive?
How about in the future you don't comment with things that are obviously going to point out that you think I'm a fucking moron. I don't like it. It shows zero camaraderie, friendship, and no respect. What the hell are you doing looking at my blog if I'm such a god damn idiot that I don't know the Barris batmobile?

  3. Actually, I didn't know the Batmobile was a re-purposed concept car. I had always assumed it was a one off for the show. Never gave it any thought before but now that its been pointed out, It makes perfect sense.

    1. Whether you know that, or not.... No one is trying to tell you something that you clearly know all about. No one is finding your field of expertise, and mentioning to you, like you're a moron, some bit of information that is learned in the first year of getting educated in that course of study.
When someone looks at you, and your body of work, and then decides to share with you some tidbit of info... perhaps you never look at that the same way as this struck me. That apparently I've given some indication that I'm not too smart about the basics of my chosen field of study.

What a beautiful lady, Eddie Fisher was a damn fool for cheating on her. Hadn't seen Ms. Reynolds for many years until Carrie's death; and there she was, that same gracious lady, beautiful even in her old age. I wonder what the occasion of this photo was, she's dressed to match the car, so I presume it was a PR photo shoot.

Found it! This is from the 1959 Movie "It Started With a Kiss." Starring Ms. Reynolds, Glenn Ford and the Futura tooling around Spain, (or somewhere in California slightly resembling Spain). Youtube has a trailer and the movie. There are lots of stills online as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6P9bT3m9io

Lol... thanks! This is great! I dig Glenn Ford. I heard he got started in Hollywood as Howard Hughes stable boy

You're welcome. I think the whole movie is on Youtube as well, but that is odd that there are no Glenn Ford or Debbie Reynolds movies on Netflix. BTW, among the movie stills I saw a picture of Debbie in 1960 getting in her Lincoln MKII.
