Further east of me in Oneida NY, sits another shorty passenger car diner. This is the best shot of it that I could find. For some reason, the google car didnt go down this street... I may go out there tonight to get a shot of it... https://www.google.com/maps/@43.0951671,-75.6519997,3a,15y,54.77h,88.13t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sydfUePXwlSe3Q4f-MXf-2A!2e0!7i13312!8i6656
It's not on a one way street it's on East Manlius street, I'm almost 62 and it's been there as long as I can remember. If you google it, it definitely comes up. Love your site Jesse, I visit it almost everyday!
It's on Phelps... and it's a one way. I actually looked on google maps to determine that. Go down to Bec's Ivy grill and then walk up the street. 3 things will be instantly obvious... it's Phelps street, it's a one way, and you're wrong or you're having a conversation about some other diner that Andy wasn't talking about. He has that handly link right there so you can use it from your home, or work, computer. That google street view image is clear that it's Phelps, the cars parked on both sides of the street are clear that it's a one way, and the other end of Phelps has the one way and do not enter signs. So... you owe me a beer. That's just what happens when you tell me I'm wrong, when I am not. If I ever tell you your wrong and you are not, I would owe you a beer. It's the gentlemanly civil way to handle a disagreement. Much better than dueling with swords. In the end, we all get beer, and figure out what the facts are. Drunk and educated, it's a beautiful plan
Haha, yes the Redwood Diner in East Syracuse. Sorry I didn't pick up on you later part of the conversation. Now I'm going to make myself drink beer which has never taught me a lesson but it never stopped me from drinking either. Still love your blog!

at about 119 Phelps... nothing shows up on the internet about it.... !
DeleteIs it open?
Would it like some free publicity?
It's on a one way street, that might be why the Google car didn't drive by it
